Reception

The stone-made lounge and reception area of the tower-house constitute the museum corner of the hotel. Opposite to the entrance of the hotel, discover Petrobeis portrait (exact copy of the painting exhibited at the National War Museum in Athens), as well as the genealogic tree of the heroic Mavromichalai family. Observe the old pictures and gravures of the era, read a historic book discovering the Mani area, let your mind travel, within a warm and hospitable place, to the labyrinth of the Laconic history.

Breakfast Area

The dining room serving breakfast is located in the ground floor of the tower-house and it is the beginning of the daily living experience at Mavromichalai. Discover the amazing multi-colored wooded tables, the unique furniture, and the astonishing decoration, and enjoy the fresh traditional breakfast that we prepare daily exclusively for our visitors. Due to our location, our breakfast is based on local culinary homemade options, based on fresh ingredients carefully selected daily from the local market in Areopolis.
